Chimney cakes (or kürtőskalács) are a beloved Hungarian pastry made from hand-rolled, sweet yeast dough. They’re baked on a rotating spit until golden, then coated in toppings like cinnamon sugar, coconut, or chocolate. The outside is crisp, while the inside stays soft and warm.
Traditionally sold at street fairs and festivals, chimney cakes are perfect for sharing or pairing with coffee. At our shop, we even turn them into sandwiches, wrapping fresh fillings in our signature chimney cake bread.
